Koung Sushi Mart

This is definitely my favorite place to get sushi now. Super relaxed inside, and the man running it was very kind. The maki was super fresh and delicious. The rice had a good flavor too. I really liked that there was a good amount of fish in the roll! He even had these little guava candies that were a very yummy little treat!

Fantastic sushi. Very fresh. Huge chunks of tuna in the tuna roll. Huge salmon chunks in the salmon roll. Crunchy shrimp roll was one of the best I’ve had and I’m from the west coast where sushi is expected to be fantastic. And this place tucked in Laconia of all places is a real treasure to find. Will be a regular.

Much like the Koung Sushi Mart at Concord, the food has been exceeding expectations. Having had sushi at dozens of places, this is remarkable in how fulfilling it is and how fresh the fish is. The rainbow nigiri was flawless and each of the sushi rolls we got were memorably delicious.

Small Sushi Mart, but service is great and prices are fair. Everything is made fresh to order and they offer some great deals. They also have a solid selection of Japanese soft drinks. I would be here daily for lunch if I lived in the area! You gotta try it!

A tiny little place right off main street. I understand the owner used to supply the local restaurants and stores before going into business for himself. I had the Spicy Califoria roll, Salmon Nigiri, and Tuna Sashimi. The portions were very good. The rice was amazing, and the tuna melted in my mouth. I washed it down with a Ramune strawberry soda and was good to go! I even had some leftovers for supper. I wanted to try the egg and spring rolls. Maybe another time. Service was polite and accommodating. I waited about 10 minutes for my food. I would definitely go back!

Oh my Goddess. These look so good. I finally got my sushi. Please stop by 20 Canal street and show them some support. The ingredients are fresh and they make most of their rolls while you wait. So be patient it's a small mom and pop restaurant. Togo only they've only been opened for a week. #Koungsushi Update Went again today and the food is so much better than any of the rest of them. The Spicy California Dragon roll is absolutely the best.

I’ve been meaning to stop by and give them a chance and today I finally did so. I was really pleased with the fresh seafood and enjoyed the tuna and salmon avocado roll. Laconia needed a good sushi spot and this one is solid. I wish they had an easy website to order from but I am sure they will eventually.

Best Sushi in the Lakes Region! I’ve had sushi all over the world, and the stuff here is top notch!
